By Day, By Night

The Palais des congrès de Montréal, a building that basically serves as a space to connect two metro stations, particularly convenient in the winter. The Palais des congrès contains shops, and is used for conferences, conventions, exhibitions, and so on. For last night's Nuit blanche, an all-night free event where various cultural activities are held throughout the city, the first floor was taken over by a circus troupe. Acrobats performed in this area, while a photo exhibition replete with an 8-foot woman playing the violin took place in the adjoining space.
