Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival: My Way of Quilt Making by Five Artists

The "My Way of Quilt Making by Five Artist" section was set up on the outer fringes of the Tokyo International Great Quilt Festival. It apparently depicts a very memorable day in the artists' life, although you really could not have guessed from what was on display.

Part of Akane Sakamoto's "Toast to My Ancestors!"

Suzuko Koseki's "The Day I Found the Red Dress", based on artwork by Junichi Nakahara, an illustrator whose works remain popular after nearly 100 years.

I can't remember the name of this artist, but she had a pink shrine dedicated to cats.
