Harimazaka, near Myogadani Station. This long, tree-lined street is one of the most beautiful places to view the cherry blossoms in the spring. The foliage wasn't too shabby either.
I've always wondered what this bush with the cute little purple fruit was called. Apparently, they are called komurasaki in Japanese, literally "small purple". This is actually not directly a reference to its color and size. Rather, it means, "small murasakishikibu", named after the 10th-century female poet. Murasakishikibu is a larger version of this fruit.
